That is the wish that Cam Ly, an 11th-grade student in Tuyen Quang Province, has always carried in her heart whenever she thinks about her grandmother and the small house where the two of them live together.

The house has deteriorated after many years of use. The old roof makes the inside unbearably hot and stuffy during the summer. For many people, repairing a roof may seem ordinary, but for Cam Ly and her grandmother, it is something far beyond their means.

Her family is still facing many hardships, and daily life is filled with worries. Yet amid all those difficulties, the first thing Cam Ly thinks about is not herself, but her grandmother. She simply wishes for her grandmother to have a safer and more comfortable home. She hopes the roof can be repaired so her grandmother will not have to suffer through the scorching heat anymore.

Though simple, Ly’s dream carries immense love and care for the family member who has always stood beside her throughout her growing years.

And on the journey to fulfill small dreams for children in difficult circumstances, SEA GN has once again helped bring another dream closer to reality.

During a visit to Cam Ly’s family, SEA GN presented her with a Casio calculator along with essential food supplies for the household. The gifts not only support her studies but also encourage Ly to continue striving toward her dreams.

It is hoped that with this new “companion,” Ly’s learning journey will become more stable and confident, helping her gradually achieve her heartfelt wish for her grandmother.

Sometimes, dreams do not need to be grand. A timely act of care can be enough for a dream to come within reach and for a journey to continue with greater hope.

Moments like these are what inspire SEA GN to continue bringing more small dreams closer to reality, spreading love and giving children greater confidence in the future ahead.

The campaign “We Sell Dreams Here” is a collaborative initiative between Good Neighbors International in Vietnam and the SEA GN Center, aiming to help fulfill small dreams for children in difficult circumstances so that every child can have more faith, motivation, and hope for a brighter future.
