SEA GN and ZaloPay Join Hands to Spread Love Through Four Community Projects

To connect communities with meaningful charitable initiatives, the Southeast Asia Research Center for Education and Community Development (SEA GN) is currently implementing four fundraising campaigns on the ZaloPay platform.
Each campaign aims to improve the living conditions, educational opportunities, and overall development of children, especially those living in disadvantaged areas across Vietnam.
Through the support of donors, businesses, and community members, SEA GN hopes to create positive changes by building safer learning environments, improving children's nutrition, and equipping the younger generation with the knowledge and skills needed for sustainable development in the future.
Kitchen for Children in Mountainous Areas

At Ban Ria Kindergarten in Tuyen Quang Province (formerly Ha Giang Province), facilities supporting child care and nutrition remain limited. The school's kitchen area has deteriorated over time, affecting food preparation, storage, and overall meal quality for students.
Through the “Kitchen for Children in Mountainous Areas” campaign, SEA GN seeks to mobilize resources to renovate and upgrade the school's kitchen facilities. The project aims to improve food safety and hygiene standards, enhance the quality of school meals, and provide a better care environment for young children.
A nutritious meal not only supports children's physical growth but also lays the foundation for learning, recreation, and holistic development. Investing in school kitchens is therefore an investment in the future of children living in remote and mountainous communities.
Supporting Environmental and Climate Change Education for Vietnamese Students
Climate change is increasingly affecting people's lives, particularly those of younger generations. However, many students still lack access to the knowledge and skills necessary to fully understand environmental issues and their role in protecting the planet.
The project “Supporting Environmental and Climate Change Education for Vietnamese Students” aims to develop age-appropriate educational programs that help students better understand current environmental challenges, including plastic pollution, waste sorting at source, sustainable resource use, and the causes and impacts of climate change.
Through interactive lessons, experiential learning activities, and school-based awareness campaigns, the project seeks to foster environmental responsibility from an early age and empower students to become active, responsible citizens who contribute to environmental protection in the future.
Renovating Vinh Hung Kindergarten
For young children, a safe and child-friendly learning environment plays a vital role in their growth and development. However, in many disadvantaged areas, school facilities still fall short of meeting children's educational and daily needs.
The “Renovating Vinh Hung Kindergarten” campaign aims to improve learning conditions by upgrading school infrastructure, repairing deteriorated facilities, and creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for children.
When children are provided with an appropriate learning environment, they are more motivated to attend school, engage in learning activities, and develop to their full potential. Such improvements also help build their confidence as they explore the world around them and prepare for the future.
Providing Nutrition Support for 3,000 Children in Ha Giang's Mountainous Areas
In many mountainous communities, economic hardship places children at risk of malnutrition and deficiencies in essential nutrients required for healthy growth and development. These challenges not only affect children's health but also have a direct impact on their educational outcomes and long-term well-being.
The project “Providing Nutrition Support for 3,000 Children in Ha Giang's Mountainous Areas” aims to provide nutritious meals for disadvantaged students, helping improve their physical health, strengthen their resilience, and enable them to focus on their education.
Through this campaign, SEA GN hopes to give children in remote areas the opportunity to grow up healthier while easing the burden on families and schools in caring for them. Every nutritious meal contributes not only to children's physical development but also to inspiring them to pursue their dreams and aspirations for the future.
